Between March and May 2025, nearly all of the top 100 cable television channels experienced an increase, with the top three showing viewership gains between 15% and 28%, according to the Spring 2025 Rural Channel Stats report.
With the collaboration of Innovative Systems MG-TV video operators across the U.S., thousands of households are being counted in this ongoing research project. The data collected in this study is anonymous viewership information based on Set Top Box data, and each reporting service provider does not have access to individual viewing information.
The top 3 channels showed significant increases in viewership during this three-month reporting period compared to the period from December 2024 to February 2025.
- CBS 53.90 – March-May, up from 45.85 compared to December 2024-February 2025
- NBC 50.82 – March-May, up from 38.56 compared to December 2024-February 2025
- Fox News 42.15 – March-May, up from 30.82 compared to December 2024-February 2025
