Prodigi, based out of Bruceton Mills, West Virginia, has been providing telecom services to the tri-state area since 1994, and are in the process of upgrading their coax cable television service to MG-TV<\/a> from Innovative Systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prodigi provides broadband service to approximately 4,000 customers and television service to around 1,000 customers. According to their website, “We are, and always will be, customer and community driven\u2026going the extra mile to deliver the products and services they deserve while supporting them with \u201cold-fashion\u201d customer service.” Prodigi President Tim Wotring says that their customers rely on having a local televison service and the company had no thoughts about getting out of the video business. Their continued commitment to video included replacing the coax cable system with MG-TV from Innovative. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wotring has lived in the community all his life and has instilled in Prodigi a belief to listen to customers regarding their service needs. Town hall meetings and community focus groups are crucial for shaping the future of Prodigi. The bundled services, including broadband and video, are very important to the customers they serve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

” With MG-TV we went from 30 minutes to configure a Set-Top-Box down to about 3 minutes.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prodigi’s Video Supervisor, Cameron Ringer, states that the new video middleware’s back office management tools have simplified operations and enhanced the customer experience. By allowing customers to bring their own streaming devices, they can have Prodigi’s television service in more rooms of their households at a lower cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The combination of consumer devices and the IS-5045W6<\/a> saves time and expenses by allowing Prodigi service technicians to connect customers to their video service over the customers’ Wi-Fi networks without the need for hardwiring devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n
