According to the 2019 rural video and broadband study, sixty seven percent of rural video consumers are completely satisfied and very unlikely to change providers. Four years of benchmark data has seen this satisfaction rating at a low of sixty percent for two years before jumping up seven percent this year. Dissatisfaction has remained nearly flat during the course of the research study.
A numeric rating scale is used in gathering the satisfaction data, and according our research organization Cronin Communications, those who provide a rating of 8‐9‐10 (Top Box) have consistent positive opinions, whereas those who say “3” or less (Bottom Box) will have consistent negative opinions. The Bottom Box respondents are the most likely ones to find service elsewhere.
Next month we will find out why rural consumers like you, and also why they don’t like you.
