Starting with sound strategies and practices, we will set you up to succeed in using the advanced features.

2:15 – 3:00 pm Using Shapefiles
Shapefiles are a powerful asset when used correctly in the software.  We will step you through the process to unlock their full potential from visual representation to reporting.
3:00 – 3:45 pm Past, Current, and Prep for Future
In this session, we will analyze the was, is, and will be of your database information.  We will cover using Change History and the newly added History feature of the property window to help answer the question of “Whodunnit?”.  Additionally, we will explore how reports can be used to audit your database information and what we can do to keep your data clean.  Lastly, we will cover the tools available to MapKit users to set your projects up for success.

When creating new design for construction, much of the process can be done in the comfort of your office.  If there is still verification to the design that needs to be done, the MapKit Road Builder is a powerful tool that can the detail that is needed.  I will show you some of the features and functions that the MapKit Road Builder can provide in this session.

We will discuss how the locate system program within the eLation software can make you much more efficient with your locating process.  We will explain the benefits and the process from both the Mapping and Billing side.

Attend this session to see how the new Fiber Build Out option within eLation Billing looks and feels.  You’ll see it before your Billing counterparts do.  Also, get a recap of recent Billing features and updates to take back home to share.

The Import/Export process is a vital part of our software.  It allows telephone companies to continue their day to day operations in the Mapping and Staking database while consulting engineers can design future construction at the same time.  In this session, we will discuss how the process works, best practices, and what lies ahead for the future of Importing and Exporting.
