Online Management Capability
The Web Portal and Integrated Web Portal options give your customers access and administrative control of their Voice Messages plus enhanced contact management capabilities. You can use the web portal to drive customers to your web site - increasing visibility for your products and services.

New Call Screening Capability and Additional Features

Subscribers have been reluctant to give up the answering machine and it's live screening feature until now. Unified Messaging subscribers can listen to a message while it is being left and have multiple options for handling the call:
  • Press 1 - to take the call
  • Press 3 - to automatically delete the callers message
  • Hang Up - normal message processing

Voice Mail to e-Mail
One of the most popular features of APMAX Unified Messaging is Voice Mail to e-Mail. This service converts the voice message to a wav file and e-mails it to single or multiple e-mail addresses. Today everyone checks their e-mail and voice mail to e-mail makes it easy to manage voice messages. Customers can save the wav file to their computer's hard drive in order to keep messages for future reference. And, they can use the save or delete links within the message to remove message waiting indication from their line without having to call into the APMAX system.

Built-In Automated Attendant Functions
APMAX Unified Messaging service has built-in Automated Attendant/Bulletin Board features that allow subscribers to define as many levels of menu options as desired. Automated Attendant can be set to play a message, forward a call to a specific telephone number, implement a dial by name directory, and activate the service for operation on specific time of day and day of week configuration.

Scalable, Reliable, Compatible Service
APMAX provides a central office grade platform providing up to 384 SIP or DS-0 channels and approximately 29,000 hours of redundant message storage. Unified Messaging is scalable, allowing you to have from 100 to 100,000 mailboxes. Redundant storage is included in the Unified Messaging service at no extra cost for added reliability.

Outstanding Conversion and Support
If you are replacing a Voice Mail system, often we can automate the conversion of subscriber information (telephone number and voice mail package) in preparation for the cutover. If you are upgrading Voice Mail licenses from an AP to an APMAX, we can transfer almost all information including mailbox data, greetings, messages and end user settings.
