Account Code Billing Services Requirements:

Application Peripheral™ (AP) Software:
Release 4.2 or higher, and AP AIN License (optional).
Switch:
SS7 software with 2 SS7 links to the AP.
AIN software with the Off Hook Delay and 10 Digit Public Office Dial Plan triggers.
Trunks to the AP for announcements.
Right to Use License:
Sold in increments of 25 subscribers.
Billing System Requirements:
Switch and downstream billing system process must support AIN services. Through proper coordination,
the numeric account codes can be converted to account names by the billing system.
Custom Announcements:
Announcements to support this service on the AP Announcement System are provided with the service.
Feature Interactions and Incompatibilities:
Account Code PLUS is not compatible on the same line with other services utilizing the Off Hook
Delay Trigger such as the Non-Verified Account Code Billing, Personal Billing and Campus Calling
services. If a call is forwarded to a number that would cause an account code to be collected if
you were to call it, an account code will be required on the forwarded call.
Other:
Available in Standard and Centralized Equal Access (CEA) versions. The CEA version will not request
Account Codes nor generate SCP-based billing if the carrier is specified when the call is placed
(10XXX or 101XXX). Calls accessing switch-based features or vertical service codes will not be
subject to this service. This may include specially coded vertical service codes or CLASS features
such as ACB. It is recommended that if this service is used to provide security, CLASS options be
disabled.
