Travel Information

Sioux Falls, SD, approximately one hour east of Mitchell on I-90, is the closest commercial airport.  Car rental is available at the Sioux Falls Airport (Hertz, Thrifty, National, etc.). 

If you will be flying into Mitchell on a charter, the FBO in Mitchell is Wright Brothers. Wright Brothers can be reached at 605-996-1228.  Car rental is available from Iverson-Chrysler at 800-753-5508. 

Directions from the Sioux Falls, SD airport to Mitchell, SD

  1. Leaving the airport, turn left (North) on Minnesota Ave. Go 1.3 miles to the stop light.
  2. Turn left (West) on 60th Street. Go 2 miles.
  3. Turn right on to I-29 North.
  4. Take the I-90 West exit, Exit 84B.
  5. It is about 70 miles to Mitchell on I-90.
